What we can offer you and your family

Let us help you manage your repeat prescriptions! There are several ways to do this here at Newport Pharmacy.

The easiest way to order your repeat medication is by using our secure easy-to-use app provided by Healthera. Once you have input your repeat medications into the app, you will be able to: 

• order your repeat medication directly to the surgery 24 hours a day
• purchase and arrange for your medicines to be delivered via pharmacy van
• set reminders for when you need to reorder your medication
• message & communicate with the pharmacy team
• book pharmacy clinics eg flu and other services via your phone
• order medications and all the above for any of your dependants or family members

You will need to order your prescriptions yourself, a minimum of THREE WORKING DAYS before you are due to run out

Alternatively, we can order your prescriptions for you. Our Repeat Prescription Service will save you a lot of time and hassle - and it’s absolutely FREE.

You can contact us or hand in the white slip (right hand side) of your prescription at the pharmacy, ticking the items you require. 

We’ll then order your items from your GP on your behalf, and collect the prescriptions for you…

..then, you can either collect your dispensed medicines from our pharmacy, or we’ll deliver it to a place and at a time that’s convenient for you.

We can contact you either by phone or text, or email - whichever you prefer! It’s that simple

“What do I need to do?”

Contact us free on 0800 020 9366 or call in the pharmacy with your details, the name of your GP and details of your prescription and leave the rest to us. Alternatively, please download the App below and we'll get in touch.

“What do you do then?”

We’ll order the items from your surgery and collect the prescriptions. We’ll dispense them straight away. You can either collect them yourself or we’ll deliver to your home or work 

“Can Anyone Use this Service?”

Yes, anyone can use this service, either for yourself or your dependents or those you care for.

“What Else Can You Do?”

Our pharmacist will be happy to review your prescriptions with you to help you understand your medicines. We can talk to your doctors on your behalf and discuss any issues at all that you may have. We can do this over the phone or you can come in person and have a private conversation with the pharmacist in our private consultation room.

“Can I Opt Out at Anytime?”

Yes, there is no obligation. If you want to cancel the service at any time, simply let us know.

“Can I Trust You With My Contact Details?”

We treat all your data as strictly confidential and take this role very seriously. We will not be sharing any information including contact details with any third party. You can be assured that all your data will remain at this address only.

Because we are independent and we are local we’ll make sure your medicines are ready for you when you need them. We are passionate about providing a better service than all the rest.
